The Market at Vanves, the sacre coure, and Montmartre

Today we started the day going to the

Marche aux Puces de la Porte de Vanves

It's basically a huge yard sale...but it's a yard sale in FRANCE!!!  WOOHOO!
I really loved it...they had some amazing things.  After that, we headed to the Sacre Coeur.....little did we know that it was actually a French Holiday that day, and the place was out of control crowded!
It was still really fun....but I was growing tired and my ankles were the size of elephants by then.  We ended up taking a little tram thing around the Montmartre, and looking at all the shops and artists.  It was still great fun.

We saw this cute little lady doing her schtick....she was totally darling and funny.

At the end of the tram ride...they drop you at the Blanche Metro Station.  A little side note....the metro stations are really cool (at street level...down below, it's just as yucky as other subways).  Don't you love the art nouveau style?

P.S.  It's right across the street from Moulin Rouge...ya...yawn.....
