Day 2: Notre Dame de Paris

We almost decided to skip the cathedral, thinking that we had too many other things that we wanted to do.  I am really glad we didn't.  It really is so lovely, and was a wonderful start to our day.  The windows alone, on the inside are so pretty!  It was super crowded already, and we got there pretty early....so we waited in line and got in some good people watching.

After we left Notre Dame, we walked around the latin quarter and found one of the restaurants that has been featured on Anthony Bourdain's food show.  It's called "Le Comptoir".  Oh my....

Seriously Fantastic Food...

French Onion soup...well because I had to!

Roasted Parisian Chicken with the most wonderful sauce....it was fantastic!

Seriously.

But on we go!
After Lunch we went over to the Musée de l'Orangerie
This is where all the Claude Monet paintings are housed that he did in Giverny. Note to self...get your tickets ahead of time!
We waited in line way to long, but it was worth it!
This is how the DPR waits in line....
It speaks for itself...

I feel so blessed right now.
