in the pink

Hello Everybody in the blog World! This week has been unbelievably busy but I love it when I go to bed at night and feel like I've accomplished a lot during the day. Last Saturday we took family pics at the Salt Lake City Public library....it was very cool.
The only thing...... getting a decent family portrait out of our family is like herding kittens.
Kym, of Panorama way (and her lovely assistant "Adam") went way above and beyond the call of duty. When we get some pics back I will let you know.
(crossing fingers and hoping they turn out...)Sweet "E" Boy was in rare form :D

For the last couple of months my home has turned into a flower making Bizarre (yes, I Am spelling it the way I want to.) I have been getting ready for Jenny's (my niece) wedding in April. So let's talk Jenny....Jenny is the sweetest girl this side of the Mississippi. Think of little girls making clover necklaces on a summer day...and you have a vision of Jenny. She is all about whimsy and girly ( I know Jenny...you are tough, too...
.....don't get your girly panties in a wad)

Anyway, to the point-
we decided to do her wedding with paper flowers...and they are
so much fun!!
We are loving them. I have Kindle, Kit and Claire all helping and Cindy, Jo and friends have all been instructed on technique ( so they have flower bazaars going on, too)

This is just a small sampling....there are tons more that we've done,

I am seriously loving these!!

It's like having spring in my house..only different.

Today I finished making the wedding cakes!
What else...
pink Cherry Chip!
Happy dreaming tonight of Pink cake and
paper flowers!

My little Christopher is sooo into flowers. When I showed these to him he said "They don't look like paper, they look real" and "Can we make them!?!" I guess you just might have to teach me =) Good luck with the wedding and I hope the pictures turned out well!
