Paris is one of those places that you just gotta go for it when you are there....see everything, taste everything.....no time for the weary or persons with swollen ankles....
In the afternoon we headed over to the Luxembourg Gardens. Please look...and breath it in....
The gardens are the perfect place to just sit and enjoy the day. It was beautiful and sunny...people everywhere just sharing the space and relaxing.

BOTCCE BALL! Well...almost....
In France it is called "Pétanque" But it is very similar...
We walked all over the gardens.... (they go on forever!) there are kiddy rides and ice cream stands, too. I had my first conversation of complete French(with no "English please" excuses), while ordering an ice cream cone. It was highly satisfying...the ice cream and the conversation.
The US needs more time just relaxing I think. It was a good way to end our second day.
