I had planned to say something like, "Be Brave Son...and Remember who you are"....or "You are a strong Man...You can do this!"....or "Return home with Honor"...
Cliche...right? I mean if someone gets to the point that they don't remember who they are, they are really in big trouble.
I ended up without enough words to say anything important.
All I could say was, "I'm scared"
He said, "me too...but don't worry, Mom, I think it will be a big adventure."
I love you, boy.

I love and am thinking about all of you. I'll keep Levi in my prayers.
Wow is all I can say. That is VERY profound and I am going to remember that for the day when my boys walk out the door and my heart aches. Iraq? Wow.
Love you, Levi.
Life...isn't that what Heavenly Father must have said to us? Don't worry...I'm here...it is a big adventure...it leaves you with a sense of coming home to share with you all the stories/adventures that he had. Sounds like a wonderful thing to say. Love you Levi.
