Ok so I guess I never mentioned this, but a while ago I stepped in for a few months as an office manager at the LDS Institute, while the regular manager, my friend Kari, was on jury duty. Long story short-Kari decided to retire, and called me to see if I wanted the job! I won't lie...I was scared to say yes. (Goodbye to my lazy freedom...) But I am so glad I did say yes, now. I really do love it! Bro. Fowler is the director and has quickly become my most favorite person and teacher ever! He has been so good to work with and is super helpful with everything. A couple of things I do is to take care of all the Seminaries for the whole district! Yikes...it's a lot, but I am coming to understand the whole program and it's working out. I also take care of the Young Adults and missionaries that are at the institute, and that includes cooking lunch once a week for everyone! We have a special speaker that day and then lunch, and at first it was maybe 15 or 20 people. Now it is like 60! The football team at Diablo Comunity College found out about a free lunch...and man they are there!! It's actually so fun, although some days are dastardly....in the long run, it is awesome! (the kids keep me young!) I'm trying to have a good atti-"tute". (heehee...see what I did there....?)
